You must not use Rivet to design or make

  • Weapons, ammunition, explosive devices, or parts intended to function as such.
  • Controlled, restricted or illegal items, or anything designed to cause harm.
  • Anything that is unsafe or unlawful by design, or intended to injure people, animals or property.
  • Devices intended to defeat safety systems, or structures designed to deliberately bypass safety-critical load paths.

You must not

  • Use the outputs as certified engineering, or represent them as approved structural, mechanical or electrical designs.
  • Ignore local building, gas, electrical and safety regulations, or skip required professional sign-off.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
  • Attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or resell access without permission.
  • Use the service to harass others or to generate unlawful, hateful or infringing material.

Build safely

Every build carries risk. Re-check dimensions and loads, wear appropriate protective equipment, and use licensed professionals for load-bearing, gas, mains-electrical and plumbing work. See the AI Disclaimer for the full safety boundary.
