The service
Rivet is online-only design software that turns a plain-language build brief into dimensioned plans, cut lists, renders and an assembly walkthrough for DIY makers. Rivet does not sell physical goods or materials, does not take on engineering commissions, and does not provide certified structural, mechanical or electrical engineering.

Acceptable use
You agree to use Rivet lawfully and within our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not use generated plans to make weapons, ammunition, controlled items, or anything unsafe or unlawful by design, and you must not bypass safety-critical structure.
Your content and licence
You keep ownership of the briefs and files you provide. Generated outputs are licensed to you as set out in the Content License. You are responsible for how you use the outputs in the physical world.

They are not certified engineering and are provided without warranty of strength, safety, dimensional accuracy or fit. You must verify every dimension and load before building, and use licensed professionals for load-bearing, gas, mains-electrical and plumbing work. See the AI Disclaimer.
